SpectaShell is made by Calida Lab. Write to [email protected].
Before you write#
- When something goes wrong covers connections that fail, keepers that do not start, notifications that do not arrive and sync.
- What SpectaShell does not do says what is out of reach by design.
- The manual is the help inside the app; the app shows it under Help, without a network.
What to include#
Reporting a problem in the manual lists it: what you did, what you expected and what happened; the connection's log, read first, as it holds your host's address and user name; the device, its system version and SpectaShell's version; and for a host, its system and whether it keeps shells.
What it runs on#
- Mac: macOS 15 or later, Apple silicon or Intel.
- iPad and iPhone: iPadOS 18 or iOS 18 or later.
- Hosts: any SSH server. A keeper, which keeps shells running when you disconnect, runs on Linux (x86-64 and ARM64) and macOS (Apple silicon and Intel).
Security issues#
Report a vulnerability to [email protected], as security.txt says. What SpectaShell does to keep your hosts and keys safe is on the security page.
Privacy#
What SpectaShell keeps, and where, is in the privacy policy.
